So white child Ciri, black adult Ciri? That would makes load of sense =p

I think Young Ciri is the only Ciri in this season. The series will supposedly start when Ciri is a young teenager. The first casting call said they were looking for 15 or 16 year old actress who looked young enough that she could pass for 13/14. So I think this means they changed their minds and are looking for a white Ciri now, either that or the first casting call leak was inaccurate to begin with.

Must be the second since we were told companies when you complain never go back, they get stubborn and push even more.

Because you already seem the show and the rest of the cast right? Since they haven't decide which ethnicity for Ciri and all.

Talk about missing the point.

Yes, totally makes sense when now rumor is updated for them to be looking for a white girl and the fact that you can't put any certainty as you did before the fact.

That's oddly specific IMO.

In a way it makes sense though, Witcher is a big deal for Poland, it's the most successful franchise created in Poland. Maybe the author even requested they look for a Polish actress.

Well if they want to make all in english it will be a tad more difficult... but I would appreciate if they made the whole original sound of the series on the language it was supposed to be on the original.

Wouldn't it be very funny if all the screaming about "SJW destroying my favourite stories" was based on a fake? The last few years on the internet really changed my perception of hell and purgatory. It's probably a place where you can only communicate and express yourself through social media, with thousands of trolls intentionally misunderstanding each of your posts and spreading erroneous rumors about you.

Even if that were the case, Lauren would be to blame. If the first casting call leak was fake, she could have shot it down and extinguished the fires of controversy quite quickly, but instead she chose to say that she wouldn't comment on casting rumors. And if she had signed an NDA preventing her from commenting on casting rumors, then Netflix was to blame for not shooting down the rumor themselves.

Companies rarely comment on rumor (since that is also a way to fish for information.
