Good catch! I literally looked up Fifa 18 this morning and it was still showing as .99m. Congrats to both. The race was a tie then, I guess?

Funny that it ended in a tie in the race for 1M. Skyrim started stronger but Fifa showed the better legs and caught up.

FIFA also had the World Cup going for it, with the free DLC to coincide with it, and was frequently heavily discounted (as annualized releases often are).  None of that diminishes its achievement at all though.  Anything that convinces EA to put more support behind Switch is a good thing.  Still waiting for a Madden release...  ;)

I feel like a troll but both games did not clime over 1M on vgchartz yet.

According to the global yearly chart Skyrim sold 999,104 and FIFA 18 sold 999,296.

Considering the amount of digital sales they both have, plus some rounding assumed on the count, it's a rather negligible amount. They are million sellers.

Maybe they didn't update that page yet?  Because elsewhere on VG Charts it's showing as 1.0m in 2 different places:

By the way, I do appreciate all the work that has gone into the overhaul of VGChartz database. But, whose idea was it to choose "white" text? Considering this is a forum based sales discussion site, with "white" post backgrounds, the "white" text copies and pastes horribly to "white" background as you would expect.
