Wasnt it announce Dragon Quest 11 was over 4m sold?

I dont think the OP is including handhelds and 4m is including the 3DS version.

I think this thread moreso proves that Japanese devs are doing better again actually .. although I would still say it's nowhere near the glory days. Ever since like 2016 though it has been steadily improving.

Yep they definitely have improved in recent years but they weren't doing too badly last gen.

Wow 3 Dragonball games in the top 3, that's really impressive.

Yep, its easily the biggest anime series in gaming. If you don't consider Pokemon, as the anime is based on the games.

Dark souls 3 and BB are criminally under sold for such highly rated titles. No wonder Fromsoft are leaning away from them to more fast paced action, propably hoping for better sales.

More like official sales statistics are horribly dated for both games.

Dark Souls 3 sold 3 million in a month since release according to Namco Bandai.

Bloodborne sold 2 million according to the latest statistics reported by Sony which was 6 months post launch. I've read somewhere that it has sold 2 million now in the USA itself.
