What it really comes down to is Playstation has most of the best games exclusivly from. Every year is great for gaming if you own a Playstation. That is the product of the largest in house development team of any other platform. What is more impressive is that next year, we will still be seeing games that blow Crysis away in graphics, gameplay, design, story, and value on PS3.

lol.  Right.  Things have changed in the last 6 months buddy.  Games got delayed etc.  The 360's 2008 line-up is now easily comparable to the PS3's, more diverse, and some would argue, better.

Hey now. You can have the first but the last two are subjective. I think the PS3/360 match up well genre to genre though. Some people consider Bioshock and Call of Duty all the diversity they need enough though they are in the same genre.

Certainly you can't which is better, b/c many games have yet to come out and near have a lot to prove! (ex. Fable 2, Too Human, Banjo Kazooie 3, White Knight Story, Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, etc.)

Aside from GT5 and FFXIII, which any sane person would've assumed wouldn't hit until '09 in the first place, what games have been delayed? Saying WKC won't make it out in ;08 is like saying Fable 2 or Banjo 3 won't make it out in '08.  Yeah, it could happen, but as of now they're on track for '08.

Not to be an asshole, but for all we know Heavy Rain is just a tech demo, Star Ocean and Getaway aren't exactly top-rate games, and there's no way to know when GoW3, and Team ICO's new game come out.

Of course promising in stuff like this really means "coming to my console", so we might have an unbridgeable gap in the way we perceive things here. =P

Oh definitely, man. Sony's going to have an even bigger year next year and 2008's momentum will keep this crazy train a-chuggin'. FFXIII and GOW3 alone will keep my ass happy (it's a big ass and can get quite upset). I'm hoping that there will be some big exclusives announced at this year's E3 that we haven't gotten wind of yet. More RPGs, please, Mr. Sony. *Sad puppy dog eyes*
