Game announcements:
- New Gran Turismo game will be announced + gameplay will be shown. This will be one of the big PS5 launch games.
- Demon's Souls Remake will be announced + trailer will be shown. This will also be one of the big PS5 launch games.
- Silent Hill Reboot will be announced, Sony is teaming up with Konami to develop this (SIE Japan Studio is the main developer). They will probably only show a teaser for this one.
- New Call of Duty game (Black Ops developer) will be fully revealed, one of the big PS5 launch games. Playstation will extend their partnership with Activision, PS5 owners will be the first ones to have access to DLC content. This game will be available for PS4/PS5, the PS4 version supports a free cross-gen upgrade.
- New Crash Bandicoot game will be announced, coming to PS5 holidays 2020.
- Horizon 2 will be announced with a big trailer, release is set for early 2021. This game will demonstrate how powerful the PS5 is and how good the upcoming Playstation Studios games will look in the future. Seriously this will be the biggest thing at that event imo.

You can add the new Ratchet & Clank to that list, a very reliable source confirmed that for me today.
Really astounded to hear that because as far as I know that game has not been that long in development.

Not really sure what to expect from the event. Wondering if they have any surprises in store, though to be honest I won't be getting the PS5 anywhere near launch so whatever games they do have available early on doesn't really matter that much to me. Of course, if they announce a sequel to/remake of The Legend of Dragoon (which won't happen, but one can always hope), then I'll have to reconsider my stance against getting a console at or near launch.

It seems like I need 50 posts before I can create my own thread. This means I will post the leak here.

SPOILERS:
- Big digital Playstation event is planned for early/mid June.
- Sony will fully reveal the Playstation 5 there, they will present us the features of the DualSense (functionality, haptic feedback...), the new Create button will be explained, the new Playstation Assistant system will be shown (big part of the show) and plenty of other new features will be announced. The most important thing is that we will finally see the final design of the PS5. However, the price will most likely not be revealed.

There will be more minor game announcements but these are the major ones I heard from my sources.
Originally, a similar event was planned for April 2020 but plans changed after the whole coronavirus situation. There is another event planned for August 2020, the price of PS5 will probably be revealed there.

Here are some other interesting things:
- Sony's initial plan was to release a Remastered version of The Last Of Us: Part II (4K/60FPS) for PS5 next year. The plan was to include a multiplayer mode in that version and resell that game again for $60 (Naughty Dog's excuse would be that the PS4 is to weak for the multiplayer mode). However, the announcement of Microsoft's smart delivery feature completely ruined this plan. Sony doesn't want to be seen as the greedy company, they had to change the plan. One possibility that I heard from is that The Last Of Us: Part II on PS4 could support a free cross-gen upgrade to PS5 but the multiplayer mode could still be locked to an exclusive PS5 version that will be released in 2021.
- Spiderman and God of War successors are in development for PS5.
- New crossover fighting game (similar to Smash Bros. and Playstation All-Stars) is in development for PS5. Many people have great hopes for this game and want this game to compete directly with Smash Bros. Sony is putting a lot of work and money in the development of this game (Nathan Drake, Kratos and Crash Bandicoot will all be playable characters in this game), however you shouldn't expect an announcment soon as this game is still very early in development. The aimed release right now is 2022 but 2023 seems more likely.
- Playstation Now will be revised in some ways for PS5. It will play an important role throughout the PS5 life cycle, this is the exact reason why we won't see full backwards compatible with PS1/PS2/PS3.

You missed a few things on your list man. You even mentioned several times that the CoD partnership was still ongoing and it was a no show. Thoughts on the presentation?

Has anyone taken note of how Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Call Of Duty were presented in the store as PS+ games? There's something rotten going on and I hope I'm not too lazy to outline what has happened when I get home. Have to get images from my PS4, to USB, to image hosting site, to Vgc and I find it so tedious I might just eat more pizza instead if doing it. I WILL say that the option to "add to library" was removed, or more accurately, never present with Call Of Duty. You only have the option to download it, which is utter bullshit. The situation with SWBF 2 is more convoluted, but also complete BS.

I've seen some games in the past only having the download option but it was quite rare. It might have something to do with these games as a service as they are listed in the service list as well. Either way, it's not that big of a deal as you can cancel the download after clicking on it and the game will be in the library afterwards. That's what I did because my external recently died and I wanted to limit storage on the main.

I got them both when Battlefront 2 went up and I was able to add them both to library without any problems... then I downloaded Battlefront 2 and I'm glad I did since I'm having a ton of fun with it, lol... no idea why it won't let you add them to library though o.O

A friend from Finland, and another in the UK, told me the same thing. Seems like it's only North America where these 2 games have weird rules applied to them.

That's what I ended up doing for Call Of Duty a few days ago, but the option should still be present as it normally is, instead of starting it and futzing around with download lists. And the Battlefront 2 situation is completely different. A picture show accompanying the explanation is basically required. Well, at least I think it is. Unfortunately, I have to attend to some housework shortly.

I want a remake of Omega Boost on PS5 since PS4 is end of life.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

Ok, so here's COD with the DL-only option. No "add to library"

Now this is the kooky SWBF2 situation. Join EA Access? Yeah, that's why I'm here. Not to get this game as part of my paid subscription to PS+, but to join EA Access...Gross. Choose version? WTF is this? It gets better.

Clicking on "choose version" takes your here. You get to choose between paying $26.99 for the game, or getting it for free....The default choice is to pay for it. I'm not joking. I did miss the next step unfortunately, which is a drop down menu showing both "versions".

I followed the rabbit all the way to the checkout, but will skip the last image. Here is the second to last step, with the "full game" for $26.99. The same "full game that you get with PS+.

This seems like a grift. An attempt to confuse people who my not know better, or aren't paying attention.

I find both of these situations very unsavory, and of course it EA and Activision behind them, because OF COURSE it is. Sony is culpable as well.

All I can say is, this better not become the norm, or even common. I was going to add another year to my PS+ sun during the days of play sale, but this nonsense put me off of that. I have about 53 weeks left, so whatever. Worth waiting to see if things are changing.
