According to Dring , 80% of Horizon:FW's sales from across Europe did NOT come from the bundle. It's nice to see this IP really thriving.

It's hilarious seeing some of the responses to his tweets. People are actually trying to argue with the analyst that has access to concrete data lol.

Some leaders at Playground games just split from MS to form a new studio called Maverick. They site a lack of risk taking at their former job as the main reason. This could be a nice buildup studio similar to Haven. Maybe Sony will do a partnership with them in the future.

I didnt see that. I seen that they want their new studio to take risks as pretty much every new studio head will say when they open a new studio. However i never seen anything about the lack of risk taking at their former job. And playground working on the next fable a AAA Open World game is a pretty big departure from what they have worked on in the past and i would say that in itself is taking a risk. So honestly i dont understand how you come to this conclusion.

That is pretty obvious, only morons would say big IPs sell only due to bundle (even more when you pay extra because of the game).

Exactly, I am glad Dring was able to put this agrument to rest and he has the data to prove it.

Besides the argument that PS5 sales are inflated (a lot) by scalpers, that apparently buy even products that won't resell for considerably above MSRP.

And we don't even now if SSM doesn't have another games (could be new GoW) and Cory was a second team or if Cory was just pre-project meanwhile GoW:R wasn't finished.

Started on Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time yesterday on PS3.

Game feels pretty refreshing - was the game built on a completely new engine from Tools of Destruction? Cause everything looks and feels (control wise) better.

Also Quest for Booty felt like a downgrade overall but A Crack in Time is hitting all the right buttons for me.

Still my favorite R&C game (and I played them all). Don't forget to do the extra challenges at the end. That time mechanic is a lot of fun! Also love the Mario Galaxy like extra planet diversions :) Quest for Booty was OK for an intermission but indeed the weakest of the generation.
