Last I checked, Stray was actually at 63,000 players on Steam. So far, Overwhelmingly Positive reviews as well at 97%. Definitely going to pick it up!

As Dusk Falls is as niche as you can possibly get in the gaming industry as far as genre of game. It was never meant to bring in that many players to begin with. I read one Twitch streamer who's currently playing the game labeling it as "GTA loading screen simulator" but the story and performances universally have been agreed upon as stellar. But, I'm not into visual novels personally.

Grim Fandango took a hit on the remaster too but it tried catering to reviewers who never played point and click genre but The game The house of fata morgana on Switch reviewed a 96 and is a visual novel , I bet A Dusk falls would of erviewed a 81 on Switch since nintendo loves visual novels, I read the reviews of as Dusk falls it's not a complete game it falls short after book 1 and drags the rest few reviewers say they forgot to finish the story but the beginiing of the story and great characters are amazing first book binge amazing but after book 1 it becomes underwelming its 77 right now on metacritic . the story needs to have be engaging throughout book 2 and book 3 for it to be mid 80's which is not doing good except book 1It's a great game just fell short

That's the thing though. There's dozens of different ways for the game to play out. From reviews I've been reading, mainly metacritic, books can certainly drag if you make certain choices, but the game demands quite a few playthroughs to experience the whole thing. So story can be a drag or exhilarating depending on your choices. 8 player co-op is definitely something new to visual novels that I'm interested to see how that plays out, but, I'm more interested in Stray.

I saw there's an achievement/trophy in Stray where you have to beat the game in less than 2 hours. A lot shorter than I was expecting. Definitely makes it perfect to be on the PS+ Extra service.

It is short but it has alot of charm and an engaging story and it's pacing is great they love it , Don't worry you guys still have Pentiment by Josh Sawyer. It'll do better It's Obsidian first party and Josh Sawyer is a vet. was comparing two new studios in Stray and As Dusk Falls, If stray was a 6 hour game it'll score 89 on Metacritic or 88? if it was 10 hours of engaging story it would be higher than 89 metacritic.

Depends when in November Pentiment releases. If it releases anytime shortly after November 9th, it's getting put on hold lol. I looooooove Obsidian and especially Sawyer's work, but nothing is getting in the way of me playing Ragnarok for those first couple weeks lol

Honestly, short games are underrated. I love a game I can finish in an afternoon, it feels nice. Plus this game was nice and cheap (30 bucks; 40 on Canadian PSN) so it fits. if this was a full 70/90 and it was that short I might be feeling a little upset, but I'd still rather play a short but immaculately prepared game than a bloated Ubisoft game.

Also, as an aside, I don't hate ubisoft but they do encapsulate a lot about what's wrong with the industry.

Resident Evil have trophies for under 2h as well if I'm not wrong.

The question would be how long is a regular average play.

So apparently there is no free upgrade for Persona 5 Royal on PS5. Atlus confirmed that PS4 owners have to repurchase the game if they want the PS5 version.

Atlus doing their Atlus thing so there's not even an upgrade fee? You have to straight buy it at full price?

It is a little worse than no free upgrade as there isn't even a paid upgrade.

But I really doubt there will be any real gain so using vanilla BC shall be almost the same as buying the PS5 version.

Has Atlus actually specified what the differences will be between the PS4 and PS5 versions of P5R?
