I registered through Sony and Bestbuy. Honestly, I don't really need it right now. I bought an XBox One Series X a month ago, and really haven't found it a worthwhile upgrade, and don't think the PS5 will be worth it yet. But, I'll want one eventually for FFVII RERERERE and Kingdom Hearts IV, plus I have disposable income atm, and tbh I've been feeling a little down, so if I could find one at a reasonable price, I'd impulse buy it. If I have to wait a year or so, not a big deal though.

You'll be waiting another 3 years for KHIV unfortunately lol

Lucky enough, we'll get another in between game.

Not expecting it all that soon, but if I'm going to get one eventually, may as well get it now. I'd rather enjoy it for the next couple of years then maybe save a hundred bucks down the line.

Dunno if it is available in your country (it wasn't here), but in some places you can register your e-mail with Sony and wait on their list to be called to buy (some users in VGC were able to buy this way). What is available and work fine in brazil is the waiting lists of the stores plus some whatsapp group that notify when inventory is available.

I can confirm that PS4Pro wasn't a real upgrade over PS4 even though I liked the purchase anyway. But PS5 the difference is quite noticeable. But yes there is no reason to rush yet, perhaps by the time GoW hits if it is your cup of tea.

Like I said, I have an XBox One and a series X, and that upgrade wasn't really that big to me. Pretty sure the gap between PS4 and 5 isn't going to be much different.

My bad, I misunderstood Your previous reply as if you bought X1X instead of Series X. So yes if you didn't found much improvement on Series X you wouldn't on PS5 as well.

11/11 release date??? This dude has been absurdly accurate with his leaks! Someone tweeted though that it could be binary for 30. So a GoW SoP on the 30th perhaps?

I think it was announced on Nintendo Direct.

Preview of Sony's new PS5/PC gaming monitor and headsets:

I REALLY hope PSVR2 ends up being PC compatible too. Playing both my PS and PC VR libraries on one affordable yet capable device would be a dream come true.

This definitely seems more like Sony's continued dedication to the PC platform. Like how Dell has Alienware, HP has Omen, Lenovo has Legion, Asus has ROG, and now with Sony jumping in with InZone. I'm really interested in checking this hardware out for my PC!

EDIT: I wouldn't be surprised if we get additional peripherals like InZone branded mouse n keyboard's down the road.

The announcement video for the monitors was kind of weird. And kind of hilarious. The hostess asks the guy what he thought when he heard about Sony joining the gaming industry.

Which is just weird

Reminds me the interviews on the begining of last gen "what is an xbox". But worse yet is that the dumb person is an actual employee (sales supervisor even kkk) that doesn't seem to know something that well is well know by people (let's even ignore that TVs and Surround system are used for gaming =p)

To help out those that don't want to watch everything just to see this gem, it is around 10m20s
