Nice. Time to find a new (and decent) external for storage.
Fingers crossed they'll release a patch for NVMe slot soon too!

To be fair, Sony Bend weren't exactly in a great place. They were probably the only western dev that never got a chance to make a PS3 game. Days Gone being an open world game with zombies was probably the sort of the game the team actually needed. Something that was bankable and not a risky proposition. Sony Bend having part of the team working with ND for a while ensured that they didn't need to be downsized before getting to work on their new game. Which is very important, because I honestly think that if any Sony Studio is close to being axed it's them. So this whole fiasco about them being a support team is incredibly overblown, because its this position that has possibly kept the studio functioning to make bigger and better things with their new game (hopefully). |
Agree, and it is even good experience to work with ND and get expertise and even some ideas. And if they didn`t had any project going at the time (and we haven`t really got any confirmed info of Sony dictating what each studio needs to do, it is just that their idea may or may not be accepted not that they are forced, we know Sony wanted SSM to make a new IP but after the internal issues SSM asked to do GoW and was greenlit, Spider-Man was a choice of Insomniac) and their leader at the time in an interview that is on the news section said they doubled the studio size to make Days Gone so yes keeping those guys occupied instead of fired I would say is a good thing.

Quite beefy External drives. But looks like the connection speed is what is being required but the driver speed could be lot lower right?

Gives me an excuse to purchase more toys, not sure about driver speeds.

TLoU on PS3 still looks really damn good. |
I think you should bomb studios in Brazil to make the remake for LoD and when you have one studio really eager to do it you start poking Sony to allow it.

Nobody cares about us here in Brazil tho. I'll have to become rich and do it myself. |
No one caring is why you can go below the radar and have a dev really craving to make the remake, get a BNDS funding and just them convince Sony. The bad thing would be you have real information about the remake launching so you wouldn`t be able to talk about it anymore.

Can you do PS-All Stars 2 ?
The Returnal game is looking better every time I see something about it, a new video showcase of about 2 minutes giving and idea of the “Hostiles” in the game.
I know that Sony is the devil, but already pre-ordered a few months ago.
