Medievil is great. If Sony remade Omega Boost and Ape Escape on PS4/5 I'd be ecstatic! Heck, why not. Throw in Wild Arms

Because it takes away dev time from other games. The question is do people want more remakes or newer experiences more often.

It's always a good feeling when you manage to recall and get a hold of some long forgotten gem. I recently recalled enough details about a game to be able to find it after 20 years. The game is from 1998 and is called Get Medieval. I was 8 and only played it for a few hours (at the house of my then brother in law while he fooled around with my sister downstairs) but I had a fun time (with the game). |
I bet they were also having a great time.

Ahh.. hopefully it will be okay cause I wouldnt mind playing it again in the future on PS5 (currently playing it on my PS4 right now - driver lv 41 :p). |
I Just wouldn't put my hopes up in transfering the save.

Wait really? Ugh...I hope they fix that in the future.... Though I guess b/c by itself is a miracle in this case and should be thankful of even that much lol. |
Sony Said Cross save is up tô devs. Don't know If they can fix It. But since the Studio was closed I don't think Sony Will patch this game for Cross. Perhaps If tô many people complain about lack of Cross save on several games Sony may correct this limitation. See Yakuza 7 you can Cross save on Xbox but not on PS, and sega don't Care.

Plenty of other studios that could use some work and would take up projects like these. A studio I never heard of remade Panzer Dragoon. Last few years Lizard Cube made a name for themselves by remaking Wonderboy III and putting out a new Streets of Rage. I think the studio behind Astebreed would make a great remake of Omega Boost.

I'm chiming in here because I think this is wrong. Cross-save is a feature for a game that is designed for 2 platforms. So LBP3 on PS3/ PS4 or PS All Stars for PS3/ Vita. In these situations, each platform has its own version of the game. DriveClub is not getting a PS5 'version': it's just the PS4 game being played on the PS5, so your save file will transfer as long as you have it. Yakuza 7's situation is just straight up dumb. I wonder if MS paid for cross-save functionality because tons of other developers are not having cross-save issues (but I am not claiming they are, just seems strange to me) Yakuza 7 on PS4/ PS5 are two different versions of the game. Yes, you can play Y7 PS4 on your PS5, but the PS5 update will make it more like a PS5 game. This requires the cross-save functionality for your save to transfer. |
Dirt 5 is the same as well, another game with MS marketing.
Just a reminder to those of you with PS Plus subscriptions that don't have a PS5, you can still claim the PS5 Plus games. They will all be there waiting for you when you get your new gen hotness. Some people don't realize this. Or forgot. Or whatever. It's a thing. Trust me. I'm here to help.
