I now know why people think PC gaming is a bit superior.

A bit?, i think its vastly superior with the amount of things you can do with a pc compared to console it doesn't even compare.

The RTX 4000 share made a big jump last month... from 20.6% to 23.1%:

Half of the Steam systems are now raytracing compatible (with at least 8 GB VRAM):

And most of that jump comes from the 4060 and 4060Ti. We'll see if it's a just luck with those that took the survey or it's something else.

Thanks, Conina.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Also, Chinese language jumped by over 1.5%, so probably at least some of the jump comes from cybercafés again

Wow. I guess that mean there's no one at Valve that checks the numbers... which makes sense given how often they're broken in one way or another.

I wonder what kind of calculations are being done in the background to end up with a negative percentage... or over 100% market share for that matter. My guess is on a rounding error that propagates through the entire system to achieve these weird numbers. At least the "PC video cards by Manufacturer" on the Steam Survey landing page only adds up to 100%, so that should be correct - but what the exact composition would be, that's another question...

And let's hope for intel that the quota isn't correct either on the CPU side, because despite going above 100% total Intel dropped over 1%, meaning AMD must have gained a fair share otherwise.

Looks like Valve fixed it now:

And also fixed some of the overcounting from the previous month while they were at it.

Someone reminded them how math works.

Now we can hope they've also learned that number 3 exists.

Number 3 exists! Intel Arc shows up for the first time:

The GTX 1660 Super comeback is strange, the rest as expected:
