I think for parents who have kids begging for a way to play Fortnite, PS4 would be the best option if they don't have a PC powerful enough for it.

People have to remember bundles are aimed at different age groups, this is clearly aimed at younger kids who watch their favourite YouTubers play it and aren't interested in Uncharted 4 or Horizon. 

You mean you cant download it for free if you get a horizon bundle?

But it's the PS4 version so it's basically useless

There should be a label on the box telling the poor fools who plan to buy this that their stuff is locked on the ps4. But knowing Sony, they will halfass it and put "We have 80 million players!!" on it instead. Out of touch like its hardcore diehard fans.

yeah that cross play exists. Sony have been doing PC cross play for some time now. 

But how dare they not fully cooperate with their competitors?

You can read stories how the "exclusive" one for Sea of thieves you got for playing the alpha/beta sold for $200 on ebay.  If you don't think skins sell for a ton - you are really out of touch.
