Forums - Gaming Discussion - I just checked Microsoft net worth and I'm in shock?

Their market cap is around 800 billion. BTW, Amazon and Apple is still larger than that.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Around the Network

Xbox bringing in that $$

Don't @ me.

Never said it did?

But the original comment you replied to corrected the OP for mistaking market cap and net worth, to which you replied "but we are going with market cap" when all were trying to do was to make people realize that market cap is not the same thing as net worth (and you may not have claimed so, but the OP seems to suggest so, and several users in this thread seems to have misunderstood already). But since you are a mod, you could clear up people's misunderstanding by editing the thread title  and/or OP.

And I also established that there are other denominators that can be factored in, which I then elaborated upon in my next post which you seem to have taken issue with?
Either way, it is what it is.

Of course there are other numbers that can be of interest, but the thread title and OP says "net worth" while he's actually talking about market cap. I don't understand what's so bad about wanting to correct a misunderstanding... The only thing about your comments I took issue with was that you seem to not agree that this should be corrected, which I find odd, because you usually like information to be correct. Guess I was wrong about that.
