Has not been confirmed yet so i put rumor in the thread subject. Playground has worked on the Forza Horizon games and are working on the enxt Fable game.

they need this so badly. before they start making games for other publishers

This would be a good buy. This is a pretty amazing developer, and getting them before the release of Horizon 4 and Fable 4 could mean big money since they won't have to give a cut of the sales.Buy them whilst they are still small!.

Microsoft really has to claim this developer, It could destroy their best sub-franchise if they don't keep them.

Great move if this is true. MS needs to have studios like this one if they want to be competitive next gen. I'm curious to see what they bring to the table.

Yeah like everyone here is saying its a smart and logical move. They have ben working with each other on a number of games , and it seems they work well together so it makes a lot of sense. Skny themselves have done similar.

May i ask what difference does it make compared to previous years? Playground were always close with MS, being owned or independent will offer nothing new to what we are already getting. Its just more expenses for MS and more pressure for the Devs if owned. The smarter move is to just own the IPs and hire devs to make your games in my opinion.

If this is true, i hope MS budget them very well because Playground games dont exactly set the world on fire with sale records with there games.

They make the Forza Horizon Series right? I assumed microsoft already owned them.
So more Forza Horizon in the future.
