Should have gone with native 720p in portable mode, if they couldn't achieved a locked 30fps with supersampled 1080.

its more like 40-50fps, and thats the first few levels they mention things ramp up later, so it should get worse.

Yeah it is a frankly bizarre choice considering the hit to framerate and that the benefits of supersampling are likely lost on the vast majority of players. I can't fathom why they didn't just render at 720p when portable for smoother performance.

Well they actually showed one of the levels from later and it actually performed better. What matters is the layout. How many open spaces, what's on screen, how many enemies is it possible to see.
I find jt funny they say there's basically no change though. All while showing footage that shows an increase in enemy numbers and an obvious doubling of enemy draw distance.

Heck, with a screen that size, they could have gone with native 720 with any low-cost/efficient post process AA and most jaggies would have been unnoticeable.
I have the game on my 3DS and it's fun, but it's not my favorite type of game, so I don't think I'll be rebuying this until it's cheaper.
Thanks, I was thinking about buying this game. But sub 30 FPS in portable Mode is unacceptable to me.
