Its 3d mario, zelda, splatoon 2, and mario kart. Mario kart and 3d Mario will out sell all those games except for pokemon.

What are you talking about? lol Splatoon 2 is big but it's no Animal Crossing, Smash or Pokemon. Mario Kart is a port of a Wii U game that a lot of people already played but it sells because it's mario kart. 3D Mario never outsells Smash or Pokemon. Zelda is not a hardware pusher like Smash or Pokemon, or Animal Crossing. And none of them really stand a chance against a 2D Mario game done right.

It doesn't matter which games will sell more in this case, its which ones have the potential to bring in new customers.

Most people didn't own a wiiu, and mario kart is selling like a new entry it will do 16-18 million ltd, splatoon 2 is looking like it will reach 10 million, 3d mario is always been very close to smash in sales, and mario odyssey is taking it to a new level in terms of sales will easily reach 18 millon, zelda is on its way to 10 million all these games in released in a 7 month window, 2 of which are the highest rated games in the past 10 years, attracting the hardcore gamer crowd in a big way.

About MK and other Wii U ports, It's the opposite. A lot of people haven't played them and they came out as fresh new games for most people out there.

What I'm saying is, the big bulk of Mario Kart players have played it on Wii U. It sold 8+ million on Wii U and besides the crazy numbers that Wii and DS pulled, that's par for the course for mario kart, around 11-14 million. If Nintendo decides to put a new Mario Kart on the system depending on when they do that, it'll slow Deluxe sales.

3ds mario kart is at 17 million so its not par for the course, and considering how big of a upgrade mario kart 8 is, 8 million is weak. mario kart 8 on switch will probably do 20 million, its selling the best of all nintedo first party games at moment.

Splatoon 2 might sell 10 millions but it doesnt mean its a system seller. Its a new franchise and yes people buy it cuz its fresh and original and mainly cause its the only game from Nintendo like this, but im sure there is not much people outside of japan that bought a switch for this game.

splatoon is a huge system seller in japan so its a system seller. keep in mind when pokemon came out on 3ds its first holiday 2013 was worse then its past 2 holidays in terms of sales.

Splatoon isn't what Pokemon, animal crossing and 2D Mario are in japan, still. Also, it's not pokemon's fault for the down sales in 2013, it would have been worse without pokemon. Let's not pretend the release of a pokemon game will actually remove potential consumers for your products, that's just silly.

3DS had trouble selling and it got a pricecut in 2011 and lots of games in 2012. A pricecut can only drive you so far. Switch doesn't have any trouble to sell on it's own and it pokemon can clearly drive a lot of sales especially in Japan where the sales could be a lot better.

I never said pokemon will remove sales, i just said its not the second coming people making it out to be, and 2017 switch year destroys 2012 3ds in terms of big franchises and quality released.

Nintendo really tries to push hardware in europe now.

In germany you can buy the console bundled with an electro grill and 5 litres of beer

Okay...but we're talking about 2019 here. 2017 is done, 2018 is halfway over. The question is will PS4 outsell Switch in 2019, assuming it will in 2018. Evergreen titles will continue to push hardware, like on every console, that's not what's in question here. We're talking about new software that will push hardware to a greater extent the same way Monster Hunter World, did for PS4. I don't forsee PS having those kinds of games in 2019 because its coming to an end. But I could be wrong, that is why I said I'll need to wait until E3 to make a sound judgement. Yes, Mario and Zelda are selling well, but take a look back at Nintendo's consoles...3D Mario and Zelda are always outdone by Smash Brothers, Pokemon, 2D Mario, and on par with Animal Crossing. All of which have yet to release yet.

Naturally, 2019 will be around the halfway or third mark for Switch's life cycle and this is around the time it's supposed to perform exceptionally well.
