Forums - Sony - Official Sony PlayStation E3 2018 Thread

Ghosts and Death Stranding gameplay did nothing for me, obviously both games are gorgeous in the Graphics department but meh so far.

Well, that was a terribly average conference, not enough games, full of talking heads and weird music. It did get better towards the end, but it wasn't enough to save it.

I can get behind Ghost, but death stranding looked like shit. Sad, coming from someone who really liked the MGS series.

Resident Evil had a better trailer uploaded.

It's actually depressing knowing that this is all PS4 gets for the rest of this gen.

PS4:
Nioh 2
Last of us 2
Ghosts of Tsushima
Deaths Stranding
Days Gone
Spiderman

Xbox One:
Gears 5
Forza 4
Battletoads
Tunic
Sessions
----- Halo Infinity will be a xbox two title.

ofc there will be tons of 3rd party multiplats too.... so its not so bad.

Halo Infinite is XBO. Also missing Crackdown 3.

Overall MS announced 6 new exclusives 4 being first party ips and Sony 1 exclusives thats 2nd party. The games they already have were solid besides Ghosts and Death Stranding. TLOU2 and Spiderman look great for graphics and gameplay.

Kind of feel like the night Trump won his presidency.

Regardless of my thoughts on who won the election or E3, it is fun watching people just flabbergasted by whats going on.

Almost makes up for accidentally cutting down one of my fruit trees in Stardew Valley and having to redo the day.

This was too weird, but I have seen games that i am really excited about

8 out of 10

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Sony has some good games coming up and its good to finally see more of them, but we already knew they were coming. It seems like Sony's bad habit is finally biting them in the ass. Though in Sony's defense, Nintendo and Microsoft aren't much better in this regard (Pokemon 2019, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Fire Emblem Switch, Crackdown 3, Halo: Infinite, Scalebound, Sea of Thieves, that cancelled Fable game, etc.)

Wonder what Sony will show next year at this point. Its onvious they wont announce any new first party games this gen.

I am so loving flipping between live streams and seeing how confused everyone watching is.

But, this conference was a dissaster imo. It felt more like a post conference treehouse than an actual conference.

It was like the conference had no idea what it wanted to be. I think had Sony just kept everything in one venue and not do that intermission until after the conference, the flow would've been a lot better.

Beyond the intermission, they needed something to break up the game trailers. Someone to come out while people clap and say, a few words. Nothing more than a minute mind you, but something to break ukp the just trailer after trailer.

Felt like I was watching just an E3 trailer playlist on youtube, which I never do, cause I find that boring. I'd rather watch a conference than that.
