If you cant be bothered to read the thread that tells you how to turn it off.. i hope you get notifications untill your final day

Shouldn't be on by default, this sites main goal is sales figures and we don't get default notifications when those are updated on the front page, why should there be a default on notification for this stuff, what % of the userbase participates and how many just see it and click it away?

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

That is a bit shortsighted, seeing as the averages for each round just like the averages in npd prediction threads can be used as tool.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

I've thought of a good new feature: being able to enter a description for a user that you can see every time you come across one of their posts, just in case you forget what you think of them or should remember them for. I believe there's a version of Reddit that has such a feature.

For example:

bananaking21: a rude cunt

This feature would be a nice addition to the site.

I don't care for it either. Turning off.

There is already a feature for that, it's called having the memory of an average person's IQ. You should try it out.

bananaboy does not deserve such praise.

Neither does LoD but you don't see me complaining.

Wait... I always complain about that.

The same IQ that made you skip website topics? Or the act without thinking/looking further then your nose is long?

I guess this comes down to how many members become aware of, and interested in the prediction league thanks to notifications, vs how many it annoys.

But if this is not about increasing interest, then you'd think this would be opt-in rather than opt-out.
I've turned off the notifications, but it wasn't until this thread that I learned how. That said, I didn't actively look for the answer either.

Then have it stickied. If that's such an easy and accessible way to get people to pay attention to a certain thread like Kirby is acting it is it's a much more viable solution than to spam the entire sites userbase on a constant basis without them even asking for it.
