I guess anything is possible no matter how unlikely it is, but switch will get destroyed in november again this year.

Based on what exactly you saying that!? Main reason why PS4/XB1 sold much better than Switch last November was beacuse they had huge price cut for Black Friday ($100+) while Switch didnt had any bundle. So, for this year we dont know much big price cut any consoles will have and what big November game for Switch will be, so I relly dont see how you can say that "switch will get destroyed in November again this year", again its sounds like wishful thinking than anything else.

Well, I got home earlier than I thought, but I'm pretty tired. I'll post a few charts now, and some more tomorrow evening if I'm feeling up to it:

It's interesting that PS4 is YOU down for all 1st 3 months while XB1 had two best and one second best first 3 months from launch.

dude november just doesnt seem that great for nintendo based on trends, 50$ wont change nothing.

Dude if PS4 or XBO didn't have any promotion at all for black friday (nevermind continuing that promotion into part of december) like the Switch had last year they wouldn't have any higher sales in November, possibly even worse ones.

Dude, you completly ignoring fact that in November both PS4 and XB1 had huge price cut for Black Friday ($100+) while Switch didnt had any and that is main reason why PS4/XB1 sold much better than Switch, also you dont know for this year how much big price cut any consoles will have and what big November game for Switch will be, to say that "Switch will get destroyed in November again this year", it basically just wisfull thinking and your typical negativity about Nintendo.

dude im drunk as hell and ill tell u somethong  3ds has been doing much better december then november, even with a massive price cut its first year, nintedno just does much better december, 3ds has never broken a million in novemebr. of course anything could happen but i just think switch wont be that much  in demand in november can switch break the trend we will find in november, i dont see a 50$ price cut or bundled game doing much.

Fact that Nintendo hardware sales usually better in December than November doesn't mean that "Switch will get destroyed in November again this year", you again ignoring fact that in November both PS4 and XB1 had huge price cut for Black Friday ($100+) while Switch didnt had any and that is main reason why PS4/XB1 sold much better than Switch, whitout that huge ass price cut for PS4/XB1 they would sell less if Switch actually had some deal, price cut or at least bundle it would sell better, and with that on mind we dont know for this year how much big price cut, deal, bundle...any console will have and what big November game for Switch will be.

PS4 did have big exclusive releases though. Monster Hunter and Far Cry are big exclusive games when last I checked.

they are multiplats, just because they aren't on switch doesn't make it exclusive

Oh dear, massive case of 'Foot in the mouth' disease for me there, what on earth was I thinking ?

I just love your diagrams and the data you present Shadow. Lots of love LOL.

Great sales across the board. Nice to see the industry thrive.

Wow, I didn't expect Japan to make that much of a difference. O sales for that matter, Switch December sales in Japan are about as high as PS4 2014 December sales - in the US! That's quite an achievement, especially since Japan plays less and less due to aging, shrinking population
