If you have a Switch theres a demo to try out (not sure for other consoles). Only tried the demo but it does have FE style to it like the grid turn based style.
Pocky Lover Boy!
Never played the first one. I loved 3 and 5 though, so I think I am going to snatch this up when it comes stateside.
Oddly enough. I was enjoying 4 as well, but for some reason stopped playing it midway through. I would love to return to it someday as I have become quite the fan of the franchise as a whole.
Not a surprise that this exists. Out of the three Disgaea games I played, this is certainly my favorite.
I put in 600+ hours into the DS version and bought the DVDs to the anime. Laharl, Flonne, and Etna are just a lovable trio!
Picking this up!

it's not that, but sometimes i think they should focus more on new games, and not like nowadays all the remakes and remasters, not that i'm waiting hard for ffviir and resident evil 2 remake😉
I still have my PS3 game, though I think about the Switch game to play portable but I think I will stick with the one I have
Vita was amasing if you like Disgaea.
PSP games:
Disgaea 1: Afternoon of Darkness (best version)
Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days (best version)
Disgaea Infinite, Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?
Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!
+
Vita games:
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention (best version)
Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited (best version)
Its just lacking Disgaea 5...

On the topic of what Vita was good for, how about those Final Fantasy titles?
Final Fantasy Origins (I&II)
Final Fantasy III (PSP port of the DS remake)
Final Fantasy IV: Complete Edition (FFIV and FFIV: The After Years)
Final Fantasy VI
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy Tactics (Both OG for PS1 and War of the Lions for PSP)
Dissidia Final Fantasy
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy (And Prologus, but that's more of a demo)
World of Final Fantasy
That's 15 titles if you don't count Prologus and the double helping of Tactics, and also not counting the three XIII titles available via PlayStation Now.
