With a couple weeks ago I meant around mid-late June, when PS4 was still going strong, battling with the Switch in the daylies for the Top Spot.

But yeah, when the SKUs started dropping out the writing started being on the wall

So, PS4 shortages are striking hard now?

We don't know if there are shortages or not. I would assume not personally. There's no real reason there would be any. I think maybe Sony is just focusing more on brick and mortar store sales than online. But that's something we'll find out in a few weeks I guess.

Problem for that theory is that Multilayer Ceramic capacitors are also in the XBO and the Switch, so shouldn't they have the same problems, too?

playstation 4 is selling much better then those 2 consoles WW.

Yeah, I was just think about that too. Perhaps PS4 is doing better then what Sony expected and in order to prevent a dire situation for the holiday's they had to hold some stock?

PS4 has dropped quite a bit. July NPD is going to be completely wrong, or right. Weird drop after the past couple of months. Pro being out of stock is contributing to less overall points of course.

Nobody has mentioned cross play yet? :]

First GameStop and Best buy are brick and mortar stores.  We know Amazon stopped carrying PS4 a few months ago.  So I don't get your point.  Also I just walked into my local Best buy and Walmart and there are no Ps4pros to be had.
