I'm not going to go scour the web and collate data for you to prove the obvious, I have better things to do with my time; unless you would like to pay me first. Look around and read up on it yourself; I'm sure you can use Google as well as anybody else.

Ok, based on your own words you're either completely inept when it comes to "Google-fu" or you've just contradicted yourself.

I'm inept or contradictory by not blowing time collecting and posting links that someone else can easily find themselves? Your assertion is illogical.

400k-500k for the first week and average out around 300k for the week.

There, that's just a quick starter found in a couple of minutes. If you want to research it further, as I said before, you can find plenty more if you're interested.  And before you start going "blah blah, it said mid-2009" Sony's fiscal year runs from March to March. FY2009 is March 2008 to March 2009.

Now quit being a pain in the ass in other threads because I refused to prove to you something that's been yesterday's news in the chip industry for over a year now. The Cell and RSX going 45nm mid-FY09/late Calendar Year 2008 has been on the development roadmap since early 2007.

Even with the RROD, the 360 has been profitable for a while now....

I think that's just MS playing with numbers. They paid a billion or so for the RRoD's last year (or was it 2006?), so they could show a profit later down the road.

I haven't been keeping up with the numbers though, so they might have made that amount back.

Why do people think the PS3 will get a second (third if you include the gap between 20GB cancellation and 40GB introduction) $100 price drop.

What do you think? That Sony hates money?

Because Sony are really good at reducing manufacturing costs. According to reports, PS3 will be profitable out of the box this summer, even though there's been 2 price cuts and it wasn't profitable at launch.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
