They did it!
No idea if it's a port or a new game, but the Inklings have been confirmed as playable characters. We also got a glimpse of Link, who seems to be his BoTW incarnation.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Might actually be the next game as the Link shown in it is BOTW's not TP's like in S4.
And it seems Link looked like the one from Breath of the Wild
So, are we actually getting a new Smash Bros.!? I was thinking we'd get a remake of 4 this year but the trailer suggests a completely new entry.
