Valve's best option. Put zero marketing into the game, just release it one day on Steam without any warning. Social Media will push the game to sell 10 million day one.

Valve has been useless for the last few years. Fortunately Gabe said a few weeks back that they were getting back to making games. So hopefully they will finally get around to releasing some AAA titles in the next few years.
