Forums - Gaming - Ubisoft has 2 unannounced AAA's releasing next fiscal year (April 2018 - March 2019)

I'm hoping for another take at Anno, because their last one was garbage.

Anno 1800 was announced, coming winter 2018, and it has multiplayer unlike 2205 so probably going back to basics, but I don't think they class the series as AAA.

I'm aware, but according to their recent survey:

They consider what they release as "high quality", meaning anything of theirs could be considered by their recent claim of PC ports towards their own dedicated versions of Anno.

A new Tom Clancy branded game is obvious as for the second one i have no idea. I don't think AC will return to a yearly release and i don't think Watch Dogs 2 did well enough to warrant a 3. I just hope they release games that can be enjoyed as a singleplayer experience

I doubt that. VGC has it at about 5m physical. Meanwhile Ubisoft has said that console digital is about 40% now, and Steam Spy has it at 710k. Safe to say that it has sold over 8m then, maybe even over 9m. That's definitely enough to warrant a sequel imo. There's also the fact that Ubisoft added an epilogue scene to Watch Dogs 2 after release which teased a 3rd game with a London setting.

Honestly wouldn't be sad if i am wrong, i quite liked Watch Dogs 2
