The imports are more likely from South Korea and/or Taiwan than Japan. The Switch did release on December 10th 2017 there.

I'm pretty sure we don't. Nintendo's been talking about wanting to release in China, but other than that, theirs nothing.

They've released Switch in Hong Kong and localised some titles into Traditional and Simplified Chinese. Here's a trailer from Nintendo Hong Kong with titles that will be playable in Chinese;

I'm guessing that's were most imports would be coming from seeing how it'd be in their language.

We have pretty much Sony and Microsoft here in Brazil.

I bought a Nintendo Switch but it was really REALLY expensive. This is because the company hasn't settled yet in Brazil. So on Amazon you see the predominance of Sony and Microsoft.

So if you want anything from Nintendo, you will have to resort on the well-known 'gray market' like I did.

I believe they said themselves 2019 but by the look of the demand they ought to try and release ASAP!

Indeed, but first they gotta get the stock right, then even can't handle Japan, let alone China which is 10x
