What I would really be interested to hear is your predicted 360:PS3 ratio for GTA4 software Worldwide by end 2008. Please dont just give me words, give me your actual numbers for your predicted ratio. Mine is 1.5:1 in favour of 360. (Sorry if there is already a thread about this already)

Thoughts so far:

GTA4 is currently 1.8:1 in NA pre-orders for 360:PS3 according to VGChartz. No data yet for Europe, but in order to reach 1:1 WW, Europe needs to make ~1m sales >360 first week for PS3. The most that any mulitplatform game where the PS3>360 is 0.48 for Pro Evo 2008 according to VGChartz, and this is only 1 game and this is LTD, 360 clearly outsells on almost every other multi-platform game. The install base WW is 1.6:1 for 360:PS3 at the moment.

360 is expected to make a price cut this year in NA, with one already in Europe. During Xmas 08, GTA4+360=$360/£200, GTA4+PS3=$460/£310. I dont expect PS3 to make a cut because they have slashed price so much already and even if they do, 360 is the cheaper option.

In NA - 2:1 for the 360

In Europe - 1:1 , but maybe 1.5:1 for the PS3 , thanks to the pack PS3 + GTA IV.

Not really, PS3 hardware will sell better

I see 360 outselling PS3 2:1 overall, but PS3 will see a bigger HW boost in PAL and NA.

How many of these threads have there been, don't people get bored of typing the same response in a 100 different threads

360 selling more copies overall, but ps3 seeing a bigger hardware boost, and maybe selling more units in PAL regions.
