Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mario Kart Tour announced for mobile

Yeah, I can't quite imagine how this would play as a mobile game either. Motion control or touch base controls maybe?

I hope it's decent but I haven't liked Nintendo's mobile offerings that much so far.

If we see other Nintendo games as references, chances are you'll get X amount of races. Each time you race, you lose a flag. Flags take X minutes (say, 30) to recover, or you can use gems/dlc currency to recover them quickly

Fiscal year 2019? That's still quite a bit away.

That's a release within the next 14 months.

NIntendo more or less has to have one announced smartphone application at any given time to assure investors that such things are still being worked on. Can't have an investors briefing without anyone asking about smartphone apps.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

What's with these sudden announcements ?! Oh and yeah ... March 2019 is pretty far away, lol.

It's any time from 12 months before. It's just a vague date that's all

Like Mario Run it just doesn't work for me. Games like these need real sticks and buttons, not an imprecise touch-screen

Nothing to see here, move along

I'm sure it will be popular, I'm a smartphone game snob though. So It's not something I'd download.

Labo, for your smartphone. Problem solved.
