is it right that X360 sold more software units than WII ?
and more than PS3 ?

Excellent idea, I hadn't thought of that before. It won't be perfect though, as some games may only make the top ten some weeks, and not others, but all the main sellers should be in the top ten every week.

For March we should use weeks ending March 9, March 16, March 23, March 30.

There is some uncertainity about titles position down from 4th but I think first 7 should be good (Army of Man for 360 theoreticly could beat them but it's very uprobable).

 360 sold more full priced units, but less budget priced units. Chart-Track don't give combined full priced & budget, so we can't know for sure. Still, full price is most important, and 360 sold the most.

If you meant just in UK, we don't know by from the info we were given, Wii likely sold more than Xbox 360 or PS3.

You can also check Vgchartz for partial info and according to that source also, Wii sold more than those consoles in Europe by a large amount.

He isn't talking software not hardware. From this data, it shows that the 360 sold more units in software. (UK of course)

Thanks to Jonnyram from neogaf we have Chart-Track March software numbers for top ten individual format chart. This was published in Famitsu:

1. Mario & Sonic (Wii) 167000
2. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (360) 149000
3. How old is your brain? (DS) 134000
4. GT5 Prologue (PS3) 108000
5. Mario & Sonic (DS) 99000
6. Army of Two (360) 75000
7. Carnival Funfair Games (Wii) 66000
8. Cooking Mama 2 (DS) 55000
9. Game Party (Wii) 55000
10. More How old is you brain? (DS) 53000

Quite useful info. We can see GT5:P sold 108k first week, and 65k second week (Chart-Track said it dropped 40%). Unfortunately we can't work out RSV2 first and second week sales as Chart-Track only gave combined 360/PS3 drop off (50%).
