But they said they shipped 12 million in the last 3 quarters So what about March Launch

That doesnt show their statement though does it where they say they sold 12million consoles in 9 months ending 31st December. That doesnt include march 2017 where they sold 2 million +.  Thats where people are confused

How ironic. The Switch is nintendo's best selling console, yet I find it to be their least desirable. And that's coming from a Virtual Boy owner.

Yeah, that includes March 2017, it's life-to-date shipments.

Exactly, they shipped 12.13 million from April to Dec.

Last fiscal year (March) they shipped 2.74 million.

That gives you 14.86 million shipped total.

 

Again, they have always used shipments in these quarterly reports. Always.

Yeah, that includes March 2017, it's life-to-date shipments.

But that would be 10 months not 9. Have you read the statement?
