Playstations late years are always pretty strong.
2018/2019/2020 arnt going to lack for anything.

Since I'm also a Sony player, I think that the first half of the years are way stronger than the second half. I mean, the first half of the last year was astonishing, and the second half was, imho, meh at best. I didn't really care about any game that released from June. This year seems to be... the same. I'm playing MH:World now, I'm planning to buy Shadow of the Colossus and GoW4, but nothing else caught my eye. Well, if TLoU II releases I'll be a pretty happy man.

I agree with your facts. Sony has created the first part of their years to allow their exclusives to shine. I'm thinking save for 1 or 2 games they may think need a holiday boost like the long awaited The Last Guardian and the test bed GT Sport which in my opinion did help both titles. But Sony doesn't squish all their title between October and December along with the hit multiplats in a Sprint. They're running the marathon. Spread all PS4 titles around. And now Microsoft is looking at this tactic. That's why Sea of Thieves is coming out in March. And even Nintendo launched their console and Zelda in March/early part of the year.

Couldn't you say the same for the XB1 then (minus SotC)? Since DBFighterZ and MHW are also on it.

I would say Ni No Kuni 2 also. It is starting to look like it may be a great RPG.
The positive is that there are multiple genre of games releasing, so most people should have something to look forward to.

Too many games, not enough time. I'll get around to Dragonball Fighterz hopefully by next year.

yeah it will be a good year for PS4.
