Forums - Gaming - Game Developers Conference (GDC) shows increased interest in Switch.

That's interesting. I really want to see more games like SMTV, No More Heroes and Bayonetta coming to Switch.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Switch sales graph, according to 5% of the developers:

Lmao. I mean, it could happen if there is a major catastrophe putting human life to an end.

But whatever, those are really good news for Nintendo and the Switch owners.

Good news, espacily part about 3rd party games that sell quite good on Switch.

People are reading too much into the "Wii U outselling the Switch" answers. That, or they want to push a narrative. A good percentage of these developers probably don't care about consoles and have no idea what the sales numbers are for any of them. There are more of them making smartphone games than PS4 games--that should tell you something about the nature of the attendees. There are roughly as many people there making browser games as Switch games.

It's just background noise.

I'm guessing the 5% that said "no way" are devs that are of the same mind as many typical consumers in the US that think the Wii and Wii U are the same damn system.

They just don't care to even look enough to know that the WIi U was not a periphial, but a whole new system.

Have you ever tried to be positive? You know, just once every now and then. You would life longer .

Jokes aside, they only care about which platform they'll be able to launch their games and get the most profit with less expenses, and PC is a good place for that. That some games are alarmingly bad is a side effect of that, but having some criteria and doing some research before buying make them only a nuisance.

I'll be more positive when I'm dead

Jesting aside. I can be at times, just not as much on here. The news doesn't exactly give me much positivity, because that interest hasn't exactly translated into well polished titles or titles geared towards the platform. Based on the general interest devs have had the past decade, it's mostly been all about making that side line of cash, as well as keeping costs down by devving on that platform first.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

They are also interested in loot boxes, shame

Interesting stuff but some of it is odd. For one, what's with the missing percentages? Declined to answer?

And the Switch tops the Xbox in the "interested" category? What does that even mean? When the "plan to make our next game for Switch" comes in at 15%.

which missing percentage?

Heh, 5% think the system will sell less than Wii U WW. That 5%'s gotta be trolling, since the Wii U will be surpassed this year.

Also, the increase looks to be a bit small, but a boost is a boost. I just hope we start to see more 3rd party games start coming in. I'd def like to check some out.

It's fun to laugh at people, though.

Ps4 & xbox had 11% making their next game on their platform according to the 2014 report so I don't feel that 12% is that bad.
