A good percentage of these developers probably don't care about consoles and have no idea what the sales numbers are for any of them. There are more of them making smartphone games than PS4 games--that should tell you something about the nature of the attendees. There are roughly as many people there making browser games as Switch games. It's just background noise. |
I'm guessing the 5% that said "no way" are devs that are of the same mind as many typical consumers in the US that think the Wii and Wii U are the same damn system.
They just don't care to even look enough to know that the WIi U was not a periphial, but a whole new system.
