Meh, I'm probably just a bit bias (actually, I know I'm bias). After playing the game with a GameCube controller, the difference is just more obvious than those other games are.

I've played both and the Wii controls are a great improvement...but you still need to use the joystick to look around, the Wiimote is only for aiming onscreen...I like Metroid Prime's system where the screen will move if you move the reticle out of the invisible box enough.

The control scheme worked just fine for RE4, as it had the 180 degree turnaround anyway...and it's already a ton easier to control than the previous REs...but as for a game showcasing the Wii's controls, I think Metroid's a better fit, not to mention Wii Sports, which is often overlooked...it still has a pretty solid control system for each sports game.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Capcom made the 2 GBC Zeldas and the 1 GBA Zelda, but definitely had nothing to do with the GB one, Link's Awakening, best Zelda ever fucking made in this or any other potential universe.

Also, you can use this to fix this thread up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_developers

There are only 7 Nintendo 2nd party devs right now, but it also lists all the 3rd parties that develop for Nintendo systems both exclusively or non-exclusively.
I love Link's Awakening so much. It's one of the first games I ever played.

Two things: HAL Laboratories also makes the Kirby games, and Nintendo themselves makes StarFox.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Namco made Star Fox Assault, and possibly Adventures I think.

Couple things.  One, did you confuse Kirby with Bubble Bobble?  HAL has never had anything to do with Bubble Bobble, that's Taito.  They do make Kirby games, though, which is something of not.  Two, could you separate them based on 1st/2nd/3rd party?  That's make it much easier to tell, you know, which ones are first, second, and third party.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Well Hal Laboratories made some game back in the NES days, who knows.

Hopefully Namco isn't going to be tied to the Starfox franchise after Assault though.

You know, I never really got into Starfox. Although, I am interested after seeing how badass Wolf is in Brawl. Is the series actually any good?

I really hate you dude. Stop hating Nintendo and go play some classic games. Just forget about SSBB characters and play the original games.

I can only recomed Starfox 64 and the original Snes one (have not played the others).  The Nes Kirby is amazing. Fire Emblem RD is one of the best SRPG experiences ever. 2D Metroids (Super Metroid in particular) are like a gift from god. Punch Out is the best boxing game ever made, even today it beats any PS3 boxing game. Earthbound is one of the most original RPGs I played.

There is much more to Nintendo than Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong. You can get most of these games from VC, but I do not care if you play them on emulators, just play them.
