Where is PUBG? This game outsold everthing this year.

It did like 2-3m on Xbox One.... sometime in early jan.
Apparently thats not enough to make the top10 list.

BotW the biggest exclusive of 2017.
Great for Kart 8 and Odyssey too.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Horizon is the 5th best selling PS4 game and it didn't make it to the top 10 list. PS4 is doing pretty bad in terms of software and hardware in US compared to the rest of the world.

There must be a good reason why PlayStation as a brand is weak in US compared to ROTW surely.

One word: Xbox

It's no coincidence that Xbox's weakest regions (excluding Japan) are PlayStation's strongest ones, relatively speaking.

Question arises then why Xbox is so strong in the US but not as much anywhere else.

This either proves that ARMS is overtracked on VGChartz or that Mario + Rabbids is undertracked since the first currently sits at 500k while the second at 330k

unless it sold like 130k in December which seems very unlikely

Yes, while Nintendo systems seem to exist as an entirely independent entity, XBOX and Playstation are clearly competing for the same market. XB + PS2 was 181m, XB360 + PS3 was 172m, and I'd bet that that's the range we're going for this generation as well.

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

Not sure why but looking at all their home consoles, North America averages about 35% of WW totals for PS and about 60% for Xbox. Just the way it is.
