always wanted to play gunstar heroes
hopefully they'll put it up on the VC :)

It is on the VC. They also have Dynamite Headdy and Sin & Punishment. There might be other ones on there, but those are the three that I own.

Needless to say, those games are awesome. Anything they do on the Wii should be something to look forward to.

A Sin & Punishment as well as a Wario World for the Wii would make my day.

You're a funny guy. It's about time somebody made a Wii game worth owning outside of Nintendo themselves. Treasure should be a perfect fit no matter what oddball product they come out with. Here's hoping for new IPs. I don't need to retread old IPs of Treasure's that still haven't aged a day.

Played No More Heroes, Resident Evil 4, Bully, Guitar Hero 3, Okami, or Zack and Wiki.

...and just to head you off at the pass, "How many of those games are ports!? hehehe"

You didn't specify that the games be exclusive. IMO, the PS3 doesn't have ANY exclusive game worth actually owning, so far, and that's all I got to say.

Ok, that's great for you. Unfortunately I was speaking about myself as I don't feel there are any Wii games worth owning right now that aren't being published by Nintendo. I own four Wii games and all are Nintendo published. They're the only four I felt justified in forking over $50 for. I already own RE4 and Okami for GC and PS2 respectively, I greatly prefer Rock Band over Guitar Hero, and I can calmly wait until Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes are sub-$20 to pick them up. I don't need to make any points about ports, exclusivity or whatnot, as it's just how I feel on the subject.

I agree on the PS3 comment but don't know why you brought it up. If it was to put me in my place it didn't work as I'm not a big fan of the PS3 to begin with. I don't even own one.

Maybe a Sin and Punishment sequel? or maybe a new Gunstar Heroes

Dynamite Headdy 3D

You didn't exactly state it as an opinion, and you presumed that there will still be no non-Nintendo games worth owning until the Treasure games came out(in what we can only assume is your opinion), which could be years. Your comment just seemed very declairative.

I assumed you would use any avenue of retalliation to save face, so I simply blocked them off so we wouldn't have a back and forth. That's why I went ahead and got in front of the usual "well those games are ports" excuse. Also, I'm constantly bombarded with people who say negative things about the Wii, saying positive things about the PS3 in the very next sentence, so I threw in that example as a retort.

If you're going to spend a lot of time hating on the Wii and its 3rd party lineup on this site, in all seriousness, I highly suggest you differentiate yourselves from the vastly mean spirited bandwagon jumping PS3 fanboys, who could care less about the Wii, except for the fact that it's the PS3's competition, and it's dominating the market as well. The best way, is to do what they will not, and instead of generalizing in declarative sentences, you should present your opinion, and lable it as such. I often speak against the PS3, Wii, 360, and PSP, but always attempt not to offend, and attempt to make sure that I state that what I say as my personal opinion, and not some broad generalized fact that everyone should already know. That's why I inadvertantly replied to your post in what you seem to think was an incorrect manner, when in reality I couldn't have possibly distinguished you from other evil PS3 trolls like KingofWale or Kyros.

However, since I was wrong, I do apologize.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

In my opinion there is not one third party exclusive or multiplatform game coming out for the Wii that says "hand over $50", except the announcement that Treasure will create two games for the Wii. I don't mean to slight the Wii with my comments, but I think so highly of Treasure that a mere announcement of development, with no knowledge of what it is coming means more to me than all of the announced third party games the Wii has coming. Treasure, in my opinion, would be the greatest development team ever if they just made more games. The only other games i've bought for my Wii that I felt $50 was justified were Zelda, Mario Galaxy and Brawl, which I got every penny of. I'm sorry if no other developers give me that "must own" feeling for Wii games but they just don't. I can see myself purchasing a whole crapload of Wii games, once some of them are in a better price range, like $10 used. Games that excite me are Battle of the Bands, Emergency Mayhem, Castle of Shikigami III, Boom Blox and Blast Works that are coming out soon, but each one worries me quality wise. None look polished, and that extends way into the future of third party releases in my opinion.

Damn Onyxmeth. In my opinion you're totally nuts. You ever try renting a game instead of waiting to find it in the bargain bin? No More Heroes is great. Some places let you apply the rental fee to the purchase if you decide to buy it afterwards.

I wouldn't waste my time arguing with him. This is the same guy that went ballistic when Deadly Creatures was announced. Screamed, shouted, and bitched in everything that even mentioned the game. Put the development team on trial with gameranking/metacritic scores and the likes.

This was all based off of 4 screenshots, of course.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, however if yours is going to be so brash and insultive you risk action from the mods. Tact is the key difference between constructively illustrating a point and trolling a thread.

You're lucky that the Wii is the victim of your scrutiny, had your overgeneralizing criticism targeted the 360 or PS3, you would have probably been banned by now or given a warning.
