Depends what you expect from a new console worth 320 euros. Full-priced remakes of recently released games? a 10/10
New games and new features? 4/10. Still nothing to be excited about.

Pretty solid. Just what I was expecting. A few minor surprises and solid info on Q1 with strong hints and a few dates on Q2. Classic Nintendo!

Man, Ys VIII was certainly a HUGE surprise for me.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is the 2nd best Action RPG I've ever played (right behind Kingdom Hearts 2), and the game being on Switch is certainly interesting.

8/10 too many ports, and Nintendo played along too much with the hype. They should've just announced it as a mini direct a week ago. What was shown was okay though, because many Switch owners never had a Wii U.

Donkey Kong and Dark Souls are interesting. Other than that, meh. I'm still kinda hoping for a full Direct in January or February.

Your number and what you say about it doesn't really match. Its okay to give it a lower score if that's how you feel.
If they said it was a full direct, id put it on 7. But as a mini direct, 9.
If the mini direct showed this lot of stuff, I cant wait for the full direct.
I really cant say what else we would have to announce in a full direct before E3, so, it would have many surprises.
9/10
'Mini-Directs' typically focus on 'B-titles' and ports. I see them as the middle brother between Nindies and General Directs so I'm grading it based on that criteria. If it were a General Direct then I'd probably grade it a 3/10 as it would have been on the same level as Nintendo's 2015 E3. As is, it feels more like a pit stop before the final destination.
Never had high expectations to begin with, but TWEWY was a pleasant surprise.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
