THIS IS NOT RELATED TO A NEW DIRECT. A SIMPLE GOOGLE OF THE URL OF THE PRIVATE VIDEOS WILL SHOW THEY ARE OLD VIDEOS THAT HAVE FOR SOME REASON BEEN MADE PRIVATE

I dont know if it was posted here already, but it seems that Rogersbase(has its own youtube channel and every now and then does videos with the gamexplain crew) says that the direct is still happening tomorrow but Nintendo is going to stealth drop it.

I dont know what to believe anymore.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

If this is a marketing strategy, I believe it's working. Twitter is on fire right now.

Mind... Blown

Edit: just in case since some of the tweets aren't loading for me right now;

Yeah, after I heard about what Rogersbase said, I thought the same.Think about it:Nintendo probably had a strategy to announce the direct and all that, much like the past ones.But when the rumors started circling in, and things started to get out of control, some genius in the Nintendo PR marketing just said:Lets do something unique, and decided to go with this viral marketing strategy.So instead of announcing like 2 days ago, they will announce like 4 hours before the direct actually happens, and the whole announcements is the Mario parrot, The Chibi Robot on fire and everything surrounding it.

If this indeed turns out to be the case, Nintendo has simply exceptional employees in every single freaking area of their company.Whatever they did at the end of the Wii U lifecycle to restructure the company, it did wonders.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that's the case. It just seems way too organized, with all the companies coming in to the party with the Chibi-Robo tweet and all of that. It's generating a nice buzz on the Internet, so that might be an original way to set things up. I hope it's the case, I'm finding all of it pretty entertaining.

it's the best ARG i participate in a while.Well done nintendo.
