Wii version = best selling version?

Around the Network

Might be a late in the year purchase for me. I haven't bought a Star Wars game since Episode 1 Racer for N64

360 Games Now Playing   360 Games unopened:  Resonance of Fate  Last 360 Game I Beat: Resident Evil 5

DS Games Now Playing: Dragon Quest VI  DS Games unopened Knights in the Nightmare, Etrian Odyssey III, Okamiden, Dragon Quest IX Last DS Game I beat: Radiant Historia

Wii Games Now Playing  Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia  Wii  Games unopened  Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2

I will definitely buy this! It will be my first star wars game since Kotor!

thank god, the controls are great

do you think the wii version will sell the most?

I don't think so. The strongest market for this title will be NA, and 360 still leads in that market.

I think it will look like Guitar Hero sales: Strong on every platform, strongest on 360, but Wii will have the best legs. I don't think those legs will carry sales past 360, though.

By the time this comes out the userbase for the Wii in NA will have passes the 360. I think it was the source that said it would happen over the summer.

Bigger userbase + motion controls = Way more sales for Wii version

Right you are. I wasn't thinking.

I still think 360 will be stronger out of the gate, but Wii should catch up eventually.

" the Wii version is pretty pleasing to the eye, pulling off some better visual effects than the PS2 version, and running in 16:9 and 480p. "

Finally a developer whom puts some effort in the graphics department to :D

I'll be getting it.

1 to 1 wouldn't work. Besides for the fact that games are fantasy, you want your on screen character to better than you would.... but ignoring that, just think about it... part of a sword battle is deflecting and strength. How can you have a 1:1 combat if you don't have force feed back when the swords clash, you just pretend to have infinite strength???

Were this a non starwars jedi game, I'd put the Wii version at the bottom of the pack sales wise, only ahead of the PSP version.

But all the net love of waggle force is quite the monkey wrench in the prediction gears. I still think the 360 and Ps2 versions will outsell it by a fairly high amount though.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I think a lot of you guys are misunderstanding what everyone means by 1 to 1 controls. It seems a lot of people are understanding this as some kind of holodeck simulation, whereas I see the theoretical 1 to 1 as the Wiimote more or less reading the angles and speed of your lightsaber(as opposed to a general left-to-right movement dialing in the same left-to-right slash each time).

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

I am relieved to see that developers are actually is putting an effort into Wii port, instead of adding waggle to a PS2 game and shipping it.

Sales should be interesting. The Wii version may surprise people.
