Forget the ps3. The ps4 is tracking ahead of the PS2. It's truly a behemoth.

iirc, XBO is no longer tracking ahead of 360 and will definitely lose alot of ground in the next two years when the S model & Kinect created a huge increase.

Im not arguing with your point about consoles dying, just pointing something out.

Several around 2014 were decreating that and how much lower than 7th gen this would be to prove it, while ignoring that Wii sales basically shouldn't be accounted... but would be a small increase from PS2+GC+X to PS3+X360 to PS4+X1 (and if Switch keep selling to core gamers the increase can be even bigger).
