Hollow Knight made the list!

Did you mean to say 2017 in your OP? I'm surprised that Persona 5 is that high on the list, considering that it came out in April so it wouldn't have had that much time to be included in the votes. Same with BotW, but to a lesser extent considering just how anticipated that game was here.

That Mario towering above all. Also, I'm surprised Red Dead is not in the Top 10 whereas GoW is, I thought people were more excited about the new RDR than GoW. Maybe it's the lack of info about Red Dead?

Games released near the beginning of the year gets less points, wonder how BotW would stack up with Mario Odyssey if they had the same time..

Averages over months would be more interesting, I think, but this is still pretty interesting. Quite a few Nintendo titles up there!
