Hey it took time to make mine for the channel also that is pretty pathetic to put me down when you don't know me. I have always loved sales data and predictions and I take it as it comes also i haven't read anyone else with reasons like mine though they are out there this is all off top of my head as I am trying to get into being more apart of this site but hey thanks for giving me a taste of what pricks are like.

Exactly, GBA/DS/3DS all failed to sell 40 million while PSP/Vita sold gangbuster. Wish DS/3DS can reach a fraction of PSP/Vita sales

In 2010 nintendo reduced software launch for wii and sales plummet in 2011. It`s clear the Wii aproach is not aproved for everyone in Nintendo. And Gamecube games like, Metroid Other M and Zelda 2011, failed in move more units.

And the SW are planned at least 2 years in advance, so it keep my point that Nintendo was the one that pulled the support, not that the sales dropped and then they stopped supporting.

We should not forget that Nintendo is very greedy, so switch sales alone wont satisfied them for long, and when they announce a new handheld device ( maybe with switch games working ) the Switch will be dead sooner than later

Smash and Mario Kart had insane attach rates. Smash sold 7 million and Mario Kart 8 million on a system with 13 million sold. Now on Wii a system that sold 100 million. Mario Kart sold 36 million. Mario Kart on 3DS has sold over 16 million. On DS MK sold over 23 million. Smash was the best selling game on Gamecube. Wii U failed for other reasons but these games were a massive success no matter the context  and you'd be wrong to try and dispute it. Your last statement is outright egregious and flat out stupid. Also when you say a plural in million it's just million,there is no S. Most of your post is assumptions with no basis. Please learn to be informed and how to properly structure a post.

Wii U has failed, all games that you metione come too late on Wii U when platform is already considered for failure, they wouldn't change nothing. Actualy Switch still dont have Nintendo biggest frachis and thats easily Pokeomon, we can say that Animal Crossing is maybe biggest after Pokemon and Smash Bros is onother big franchise, and Nintendo will have plenty of other games and IPs and we can easily have onother 3D Zelda, 3D Mario and new Mario Kart. Offocurse that it didnt manage to sell faster 10m than PS4 when Switch had huge stock problem most of the year and actualy its still completly sold out in Japan. Nintendo games are what seeling Nintendo hardware on first place, Wii, DS and 3DS also didnt had big 3rd party support.

We will definitely have new handheld, in form of Switch Mini/Pocket that will be part of Switch platform, and offocurse that will just incrase Switch sales and popularity.

Clearly you are being sarcastic but it also shows you don't research this stuff much, psp did around 80mil while competing with the DS so yes it did well but Vita not very well so your statement is kinda hard to understand haha either way no one said they didn't do well?? not sure what you on about to be honest.

The simplest thing we get from PSP nice sales competing with the giant DS and PSV failing against the greatly weaker selling 3DS is that making a prediction in the portable market is anything but linear and easy. I see big analysis and prediction fails both in the Ninty fans and Ninty haters fields. The biggest fails I saw up until now, anyhow, aren't in subjective analyses and predictions, in those cases most of the times you can simply say a certain prediction is very unlikely, but in doing even very simplified and quick maths based on current available data (for example, with an average 100k weekly lead, it would take almost 11 years to fill a 57M gap).

True true, that is the case with pretty much any prediction. It's safe to say phones have all but taken over the handheld console market while it holds on for dear life. Sadly i think VITA would have done better but they made too many wrong decisions mainly price and memory card.
