Don't through Amazon U.K. Chart at him please. Let's see how it's actually done before we try to drill into everyone that it's a frontloaded failure. Jeez why do people get threatened by competition. To awnsers his question we don't know yet. Pro did about 250k npd last year. Xb1x looks to mash that number into the ground but we don't know yet. To be fair for whatever reason Sony didn't market the pro as much, but the flip side argument is ms needed to market it more because this this is expensive as f&@k.

The difference is Sony never needed to market the Pro. They always stated that base PS4 will stay the main focus and they stick to that. No need to abandon it and replace it with something far better, like Microsoft tries to do now. That’s where the initial difference in launch sales comes from. Low stock was also a huge problem. PS4 owners simply don’t feel the need to replace their base console, while many disappointed XBox owners were urging for it for years already. Logical or not.

I think a lot of PS4 users weren't impressed with the pro, but otherwise I mostly agree with you. Although ms has repeatedly said that it's not trying to replace the s. In the US sales will likely dwarf the pro's at launch, but I too agree that numbers will settle down. I think to around pro level sales by January. And I believe they will stay that way till the price comes down to 449, 500 is just too damn expensive for the market. If they don't drop price(or at least bundle) by may I think numbers will fall to under pro levels. Although maybe sooner if the pro stays at 349.
for the record I think the pro is seling just fine for a premium console. Also wasn't bashing the pro I was also displeased with the x's crap CPU.
Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)
