Which leads me to ask - what's the point of this thread if you don't want to actually discuss anything?  There are plenty of echo chambers on the internet where people will nod to every favorable rhetoric, all while squeezing their ears and shouting "WRONG" when the trigger word Switch is brought up.  Sadly, it seems like this isn't one of those places.

Are you looking for an echo chamber?  People can read an OP but it seems the only thing you are looking for is agreement not different theories.  Also your lack of numbers and links to the "real issue you seem to have" makes for a lazy OP.

 

All that said, you could be correct, the lack of new iterations / strong software could very well be a big part of what is hurting the PS4.

PS4 is in competition with Switch, the Switch isn't cannibalizing the PS4. Cannibalizing would be if the PS5 came out this year and shorted PS4's peak years. Yup, I'm on topic!

Ps4 and switch are only slightly in competition.  They actually coexist xreally well. Switch launching has stopped ps4having it's biggest ever year in Japan or WWn .  and the ps4 ruling the world hasn't stopped the switch doing well. n

So then, what are we considering cannibalism, for the purposes of this thread? I am pretty sure that eating someone of another race still counts as cannibalism, so would handhelds and hybrids count?

I think they're either sleep/work/or analyzing the entire thread before making a sound judgement...I hope.

I'm actually surprised they haven't taken issue with jrnation. So many of his post are either 1 word or 1 liners and usually add nothing to the thread. It's almost the equivalent of quoting someone and just writing "+1" as your reply.

Lawlight tends to confuse trolling with flaming, so what he really means is that you are flaming. His definition is very loose, so merely saying something unfavorable about a person already qualifies as flaming, or trolling as he calls it.

Even then I wasn't even flaming anyone lol, it's pretty obvious what the intentions behind this thread were from the get go. I was just pointing out the obvious/ how hypocritical it is. Like, I guessed that it was from Kerotan before even opening it. People are used to what his whole shtick is.

What they were really trying to say is q4 for the ps4 is lower then 2016 because of the switch. In this thread I point out the real reasons why q4 2016 was higher. And I even add in why q3 this year was higher just to prove it's both g to do with the switch.

I wonder how many of those posts were before this thread was made. I imagine just one, but apparently enough to make this thread.

No you didn't. You literally started this thread by immediately saying that the PS4 being down because of the Switch is a 'myth' which shows that you're saying it was never true to you, so if you're not even able to consider it as an option, why did you even make this thread if you're not willing to discuss it in the first place?

Again, what on earth was the point of this thread dude. There is no discussion to be had if you won't even consider it an option. You presented this thread as a question, but you already had your own answer to tell others who thought differently. This thread is basically "agree with me or you're wrong".
