I think the OP should make a thread like this again...with a new poll (with the same options). I'm really curious to see if any opinions have changed over the past year.

So, what....if we don't call them filth his supporters wouldn't vote in 2020?

No he’ll get more supporters. This “racist by association” shit is laughable and only hurts your cause. The far left is insane and they are actually propping them up as the face of the platform. I would be more worried about what your party has to lose and reflect a little bit before you start labeling people you don’t know.

Let me get this straight.  Calling Trump supports filth will cause non-Trump supporters to vote for Trump?

Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds?

Why is that ridiculous? Trump already has democrat support, people are seeing the way the left is acting. Ridiculous is assuming that people are dumb enough to fall for the “you are every ism under the sun if you support trump” shtick. Most people know better, that only works on the college campuses and twitter. So yes, keep being insane and trashing your fellow citizen for no reason. It will give him another 4 years, easily.

There is no cause.  If people will vote for Trump because other people believe Trump is a liar, con man and general idiot, then America will get and keep the President they always wanted.  I personally do not have any negative things to say to anyone who want to vote for Trump in the past or the future.  What I do not want to hear from those very same people is anything about another candidate who acts the same, does the same as Trump but is with the other party.  You cannot pick the nastiest fruit within the bowl and expect quality elsewhere.  So when conservatives get on their horse about Maxine Walters, people should say, you set the bar low now live with it.

I agree. If you make someone like Waters the face of your platform then live with the consequences. I don’t attack y’all personally when I share my disdain for the American left. We have had many conversations without resorting to the isms fallback. We battle in the realm of ideas, not people. So when people can’t battle in the realm of ideas they dive under the low bar. The generic “racist by association” conclusion. I encourage people to keep propping up people like waters and saying stupid things that drive the people away that are too ignorant to look into actual policy and just check the D every time they vote. PLEASE make people think twice, I beg you. I heard Trump is gaining in Hispanics. Let’s see how fast the dems want immigration reform if the Hispanic vote shifts to republican lmao.

By the very same token Checking the R because that person won that party is just as bad.

I hear Trump is gaining the black vote as well but then again, we will see what happens at the polls.  Its like you jump all on Maxine Waters but forget that Trump has done exactly as she has done.  When its Maxine, she is a terrible person, when its Trump he just punches back and take no shit.  Its like you are saying look over there at that terrible Dem, while on the same hand saying oh just excuse this Republican nothing to see here.  In one paragraph you showed your partisan hand while condemning it for the other side.  If you want to talk about an LOL moment, you just showed it.

I don’t hide my partisan though. I don’t pretend like my bias is on a crusade to crush the heretics. I want Waters to be the face of the democrat party, that’s advantageous from my perspective. I want her stupidity on full display, why would I want her to leave?  I’m not saying that anyone who supports Waters’ insane babble is a piece of shit and lower than dirt by assossiation. I’m not that lazy or ignorant.

Some people are just misinformed or uninformed. Some have been raised by a destructive culture. I can’t really blame California for supporting such a useless hack. Feinstein, Pelosi, Moonbeam. They are all the same and have been doing the same ignorant shit for decades. That’s why I support trump talking shit back. That ism talk might work in California but the landscape out here is much different.

Republicans want:

To deport all Mexicans and Muslims.
To limit public spending on schools despite it being very important to the next generation.
Hate socialized healthcare despite it being provably better in all other developed nations.
Love religion and would rather their morals be dictated by a book written over a millenia ago
(Refer to the part about public schools again for some perspective on books written just 50 years ago and how outdated they are)
(Refer to the part about muslims to realize Republicans only want CHRISTIAN religion)
Want to put more guns out there instead of regulate them despite guns being a major issue in the country (Far above other developed nations)
Want to suppress LGBTQ Rights and are even occasionally for suppressing women's rights.
Want to lower taxes yet increase military spending.

In the end, Republicans do not represent the future, they represent the past. They want things to stay the way they are or go back to the way things were. They hate progress, they hate social inclusion, and they especially hate the idea of admitting that maybe America's doing it wrong and that the nation could be so much more than it is. Republicans don't want social services, they take pride in the concept of self preservation at the cost of the many.

Then they cry 'snowflake' when democrats are like 'dude, maybe it's not cool to call those folks faggots'.

I have no respect for the modern republican, because they don't represent the future. They're stuck in the past, espousing outdated values, refusing to change to make the world a better place, and actively antagonizing those who want to help others. Republicans, by their very definition, want less government interference in their lives, both good and bad. so much so that they do things like protest universal healthcare not because of how good or how bad it is, but because a black democrat wanted to give it to them.

Democrats, by their very definition, believe in higher taxes and more social programs, which means better inclusion and has led to a more forward thinking mindset. They want change (it was obama's campaign slogan), but many americans don't want change even though they sorely need it.

Right now, your nation is going through a petty teenage phase where republicans are throwing a hissy fit because it's coming more and more clear that republican values are dying out. and no, don't give me this shit about how 'Trump Won". I went back and compared notes to EVERY election from the year 1900 to now, and only two elections have had a winner who lost the popular vote: Trump and Bush 2000. Not only did Trump lose the popular vote (and your hilariously inept 'electoral college' was what made him win the election), but he lost by over 3 million votes.

So yes, of the past 5 elections, Democrats won 4 of them by popular vote despite Republicans winning the white house 3/5 of those times.

Facts. deal with it.
