On the upside I can go for days without using the toilet, almost managed two weeks at one point

That sure is an upside!

Sounds like a downside to me.  Sometimes a good bowel movement is all I need to cheer up my day.

And how does that pizza look like when you take it out of the oven? Does it taste great?

Red Baron pizzas are excellent! They look just about like they do in the picture.  Relative to most other frozen pizzas, they taste great.

Yea they don't taste like cardboard.  Papa Murphy pizzas are probably the best considering they are the most "fresh" oven pizza.

One of my sisters' husband has a son from previous marriage who is married to a woman from Switzerland. Small world huh?

I usually don't take a picture of food because frankly I don't even take many pictures but I will return to this thread and try to describe the meal in such scrumptious and informing words that by god you would think you were actually there.

Well Switzerland is a small country, that you know someone from it is quite remarkable.

Looking forward to the picture. I will post one on Saturday when my family is celebrating a delayed thanksgiving.

No pictures sorry.  I almost took one just for you but didn't pull the trigger.

Had turkey and ham for main meats.  The turkey was semi dry but I haven't ever recognized turkey as a very moist meat considering the past numerous thanksgivings the turkey meat was never incredible moist.  The ham though was cooked well and it came out nice and moist.  I enjoyed the ham more but the turkey wasn't terrible.  I stuck mainly to dark meat of the turkey with a leg, some cuttings and attempted to eat a wing (barely and good meat on it but wings usually suck anyways).

Numerous sides including mashed potatoes with gravy if desired, bread rolls with options of butter, rhubarb jam and strawberry jam, green been casserole, Italian sausage with pasta noodles casserole, and sweet potatoes which I have never acquired the taste for.

Dessert items were pumpkin pie, apple pie (which looked better than most average apple pies), and some kind of chocolate pie.  I had a small slice of pumpkin pie because I was stuffed from two big plates.  It was good pie and I got the rest of it apparently which might try and ration out to a neighbor or something.  My sister just threw most the leftover dishes at me.  I suppose my girl doesn't have to cook for a few days except I'm going to grill some steak tomorrow.

Can't take a pic right now, but;

Chicken on a Stick
Fish
Pulled Pork
Bread Rolls with Cheese
Bean Dip
Malai Kulfi

Sorry but no picture... It was great though. It has all the good stuff, like macaroni , mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, and stuffing. I was done for the rest of the day after eating xD

I suggested a few years ago that our family skip Thanksgiving and just save the getting together junk for Christmas.  It passed with a majority vote.

Good choice of pizza. I remember I used to have that from time to time when I was just craving it :D

I've never heard of Papa Murphy pizza.  Where are you buying them?  I enjoy just about all pizzas, so I'd like to give them a try.

They are stand alone stores.  You go in there and they make the pizza for you but it isn't cooked so you have to bake it yourself at home.  Oddly enough the paper tray they put under pizza is meant to be left there and cooked with the pizza.

Oh yeah, I *have* heard of them.  There are none near me though, so I've never tried.  However, we used to have a local take-n-bake pizza place called Papa Petrones.  It was pretty good.  However, they were just as expensive as an average pizza joint.  So, it didn't make much sense for me.  I generally either want the anytime convenience of frozen pizza, or something ready-to-eat from a local pizzeria.
