Sony will most likely announce an official price drop to 350,- at PSX which will effectively lead to retailer prices around 300 early next year. There are deals for 300-350 Euro here in Europe already (including VAT). They go aggressive to combat X1X.

Might as well wait for Gamestop during the 23rd-26th, get a 50 dollar gift card on top of a PS4 purchase and you could get a couple of games with that gift card on top of it.
