Disney needs to get it, since Disney is going for a streaming service and there are rumours of a star wars series I know I will get it so they might as well get content since I won't use netflix anymore xD

the ad campaign for it in NYC was nuts, with almost every train, and subway station there was Vue ads. there is still some even now including TV commercials. So yeah I think people bought it.

I use it in place of a Cable TV from my ISP provider. It's a bit more expensive than the actual TV subscription, but I don't have to pay 8$ per box. That'd be $30 on top of my internet bill, plus $24 for three boxes. I save $14 using Vue, not to mention having DVR and On Demand on every device.

Pulling Spider-Man out of the MCU and putting him into an entirely new universe with an entirely new actor would pretty much be franchise suicide.
