Pokémon Gold and Silver for 3DS appeared on the UK charts. I wonder if these are just mistakes, or if they somehow managed to estimate eShop sales?

VGChartz did this with Project Cars too, even if it was delayed they updated their weekly software charts with sales numbers for Project Cars before its launch.
Do you guys think Nintendo/Ubisoft are pleased with Mario/Rabbids success thus far? I thought it would perform a little better in the U.S. considering it's a Mario title. Then again maybe the hype for Odyssey killed any chances for it? It's really great game, wish more people would get into it.

We don't have digital, where they hung around in the Top 20 for a while.
Also Nintendo titles are long burners. Not many titles in the top 30 that aren't new or Nintendo after all.
The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Zero Mission on GBA only did 0.84M lifetime. Prime Hunters on DS sold 0.76M. Other M on Wii sold 1.35M. Even the 3 Prime games only sold 2.82M, 1.33M and 1.79M.
Metroid simply isn't a big franchise.

I think the US numbers may be off. Rabbids games typically do a bit better in Europe, but considering that this is a Mario game, and that the install base is significantly smaller in EU, the fact that the EU numbers are about 3x US is a little bit suspect. Either it's overtracked in Europe or undertracked in the US. It's also yet to launch in Japan.
It's a solid game, but it's also an SRPG and those games, Mario or otherwise, don't tend to put up huge numbers. If the game gets to a million (which it should do even assuming the numbers are indeed accurate) then I think it would be considered a success.

But people were hyping Samus Returns like it is a big franchise. |
Because a lot of the big Nintendo fans like the franchise. A lot of people here were hyping Persona 5 too, while barely anyone cares about FIFA or COD.
