There's only one game where I am able to do a speedrun and that is Mega Man X. With a time of 45 mins for 100% I am nowhere near the world record of 35 mins though. ^^

I used to speedrun Super Metroid, I think my time was 50 min any % and 1:15 100%. Having played it again lately, I am terribly out of training xD

Same here. I used to end every year with a quick run through Super Metroid.
I used to blow through Super Metroid, Zelda ALttP (even stealing a key from one castle to use in another), and Metroid II (running through the corrosive ooze to access sections I wasn't supposed to get to, yet).
These days, if I even beat a game, I celebrate. I'm not going back and looking for shortcuts.
Yes, But I'm more like a casual speedrunner than a hardcore one. I do it from time to time but then I switch to something else.
If you are interested here is a list of games with my PBs that I've been speedrunning at some point:
VVVVVV any% - 33:19 (WR - 12:09)
Super Metroid any% - 1:29:39 (WR - 41:40)
Super Metroid 100% - 2:31:00 (WR - 1:14:33)
Super Metroid Spore Spawn - 9:35 (WR - 5:51)
Shantae Half-Genie Hero 100% Hero Mode - 2:30:51 (WR - 1:54:15)
Serious Sam The First Encounter any% tourist - 1:05:02 (WR - 34:47)
So, yeah, as you see I'm pretty bad at this. I plan to return to Super Metroid any% and get at least sub 1:20:00 because I feel like I can do it. As well as Shantae Half Genie Hero sub 2:20 and Serious Sam TFE sub 1 hour. But I think I will return to it next year because right now I'm focused more on just playing some games.
P.S. You can find me by my VGChartz username on Speedrun.com for everything except Super Metroid and as "playingg0d" on DeerTier.com for Super Metroid results.
I mean, I once did SM64 70 stars in like 2 and a half hours... I tried, okay?
Lyrics: He He He He Ha Ha Ha!

Yeah, I'm pretty good at speedrunning. Used to speedrun some Metal Gear Solid 4, Subway Surfers, that kind of stuff. That being said, my best speedrun is without a doubt Heavy Rain.
I used to speedrun Sonic Adventure for DC. Can't remember my times though since it was so long ago.
I quit speedruns and "Beat the game under XX hours" trophies after Ico. Fuck that speedrun. I'd rather eat at Arby's.
Fun to watch others though. AGDQ used to have some good ones. I even enjoy TASs too.

The key trick is quite clever!
I did one in Mirror's Edge to get the Plat trophy.

Yes, I speedrun the original NES Metroid, Fusion and Zero Mission. I also speedrun Zelda Twilight Princess both in Gamecube and Wii U.
Though I only do it for fun. I don't upload my runs, I don't compete with other people. To me, speedrunning is not just about beating a game as fast as possible... is about enjoying some of your favourite games in new and different ways.
